REFUNDS, CANCELLATION, AND WITHDRAWAL

Refunds

The following deposits and fees are non-refundable:

  • 500DH tuition deposit
  • 1,000DH housing deposit (for ALIF Residence Hall)
  • 500DH placement fee (for Homestay program)

Other refundable payments, such as tuition or housing fees, can only be refunded in person in Morocco. In-person refunds are available for 60 days after written notification of cancellation. Moroccan banking laws do not allow ALIF to refund money to overseas account holders. In this case, fees paid will be credited to future study at ALIF. Funds can be used for up to 18 months.

Cancellation

Students who cancel 21 days prior to the beginning of the term for which they enrolled are eligible for a full refund/credit, less non-refundable deposits. From 1-20 days the refund/credit amount is 75%. From the first day of class, cancellation is not allowed. After the start of the term, the only option is to withdraw from the course.

Withdrawal

No refund/credit is available for students withdrawing from their course after the semester begins.

Suspension from program

There is no credit or refund for a student who is suspended or expelled from the program for any reason.

Policies for students on university programs

Unless otherwise noted in an MOU signed between ALIF and the program partner, standard ALIF refund and cancellation policies apply.

Notification

Notification must be received in writing to ALIF at alif-fes@acamorocco.org and the written notification serves as the date of cancellation/withdrawal.

ALIF Cancellation

In the event that ALIF cancels a course, or a course is canceled because of outside forces (such as border closures), students are eligible for a full refund or credit.
